  • Obtaining originals : Death certificate, Last will certificate & Spanish will.
  • SPANISH FISCAL NUMBERS (N.I.E.)
  • I.E. registration in Treasury.
  • Inheritance tax management.
  • Utility bills contracts and Direct debits.
  • Full representation and management by Power of Attorney, in which case you would have to add 300€ + 63€ ( 21% VATax ) = 363€ to cover Notary Public expenses, translator and legal fees, all payable to MCH SOLICITORS by banking transfer. Should you wish to revoke the P.O.A. you may do it at any time by going to any Notary Public in the world and paying him about 80€. The P.O.A. save you time, troubles and money ( flight tickets, hotels, etc. )
  • New Spanish bank account for the inheritors with one of the best Spanish banks.
  • Inheritance Deed at the Notary Public.
  • Local rates (IBI SUMA) ownership changing and direct debit.

 

Therefore, as an inheritor you have to pay:

 

» 1.076,90 € to MCH SOLICITORS + 363€ P.O.A. if wanted.

» Local tax on increased value of real estate,  called “Plusvalía”, only if there is and increase in the value of your your inheritance. The amount would depend on every single Town Hall.

» Notary expenses for the inheritance Deed: from 500€ up to 950€

» Land registry expenses: from 250€ up to 450€.

» Inheritance tax (to be calculated case by case).

 

Value of the inheritance over 200.000 €    FULL legal & fiscal pack to MCH SOLICITORS = 0,5% of the said inheritance value + 21% V.A.Tax.
